Here… in This Dream of Immanence
Though my Prayer was answered,
My Heart's Desire Fulfilled,
Here, in the Dream of Immanence,
My life is not without sorrow.
Though in the Perfection of Union,
Knowledge and ignorance were transcended,
Here, in the Dream of Immanence,
I know nothing, understand nothing.
Though desire and fear Vanished,
In the Perfection beyond all Duality,
Here, in the Dream of Immanence,
I am not without desire and fear.
Though my Heart is Illumined,
With Peace that Transcends Understanding,
Here, in the Dream of Immanence,
I am, at times, inconsolable.
Though I no longer suffer,
The felt sense of “myself”,
Here, in the Dream of Immanence,
What remains is far from perfect.
Though held in Her Embrace,
Of Fullness, Completion, and Bliss,
Here, in the Dream of Immanence,
I sometimes despair incarnation.
Though imbued with a Perfection,
Beyond Perfection and Imperfection,
Here, in the Dream of Immanence,
I remain Wounded and Broken.
Here, in the Dream of Immanence,
I am Transcendent, and Immanent,
No longer able to find that place,
Where one ends, and the other begins.
It is through a Love Unimaginable,
That Perfection beyond Duality,
Illumines and Imbues ItSelf,
As Imperfect Duality.
And it is this Immaculate Imperfection,
Not Transcendent Perfection,
Here… in this Dream of Immanence,
That is proof of Grace.
